3rd September 2006 Windsurfing: Aberdyfi Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 18-25 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Went for a session at Dyfi in the channel as high tide wasn't til 5.00pm. Went for the wave board and 5.0m but was bit bit over powered so didn't go for much. After a while I tried the new 4.5m Impact. With the tide starting to push I was having trouble keeping to windward so changed back to the 5.0m which was much better. Good blasting session, tried loads of gybes but was too over powered and that put me off a bit, later on started to make them dry, maybe the wind was easing or it was becoming steadier but it did get easier. Also tried carve tacks on the inside but I need a bit more practise before I get those on the wave board me thinks! Another good session. |
